ABOUT DR DESAI

Dr Pradeep Desai is a senior consultant with years of experience in pain medicine and anaesthesia. His approach is to systematically isolate the main trigger causing pain, and give the patient the most effective treatment appropriate to each case.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA).

He was also the Regional Advisor for Pain Medicine for the Oxford Deanery, in which capacity he oversaw the training of doctors specialising in Pain Management.

He leads the Pain Management Department at Wexham Park and Heatherwood NHS Trust. He has been responsible for introducing the most recent technologies for pain relief including Spinal Cord Stimulation. His particular expertise is in interventional methods of pain relief.
